Friday 8th May sees the 75th anniversary of VE Day, where the nation will remember the service and sacrifice of the WWII generation by coming together to celebrate (whilst still observing social distancing of course!)
It would be wonderful if you could share photographs of you learning about or celebrating this special occasion. Maybe you are going to dress up in something red, white or blue, create your own bunting to decorate your house, design a poster, write a poem or make a hat or flag to wave for the Nation’s toast at 3pm.
Whatever you do, we would love to see your photos!
Olivia enjoyed celebrating VE in her garden! We love the flags and paper chains!
Ruby and Lily have been busy making VE decorations for their window! They have also been baking some amazing looking cakes! They look so tasty! Well done girls!
Here is some bunting Caitlin (Year 3) made to decorate the front of her house, with the help of her brother. Well done, Caitlin!
